Well guys, we aren’t leaving Nacogdoches, Texas empty-handed!

Most of you would probably look at me funny if I told you there was such a thing as a “semi passport,” but there is. There are six shows throughout the country where you can try to qualify for the National Championship down at Atlanta Motor Speedway — and they don’t just hand these things out. Only 12 trucks in each class from across the entire country get invited.

So yesterday, when I saw Evan and a crowd of people heading my way, I thought, “There’s no way we’re about to get invited to Atlanta.”

Sure enough, he walked up with a big smile and said, “You wanna go to Atlanta?”

I told him, “Let me give you an answer by the end of the day.”

There are a million things that have to come together before you commit to a show of this caliber, so after about 10 phone calls and a TON of support from everybody who helps me do this, we decided to accept the invitation.

I’m not gonna lie, I almost teared up.

I went back and found Evan in the crowd. As I walked up, we made eye contact, I gave him a thumbs-up and said, “We’ll see you in Atlanta.”

What a feeling.

This is a HUGE honor, and I’m incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many people who stay behind me and support what we do. I truly couldn’t do this without you guys.

When you’re transporting horses coast to coast, there’s a lot more that goes into the trip than simply getting from Point A to Point B.
