It took us a long time to get the layers of gelcoat and paint of the Sisu. As you can see the skid has seen better day.

The tailcone is fiberglass mounted to the aluminum fuselage. Rally red trim with clear coat over the color to make a seamless transition.

Some more pictures of the Sisu rigged with fresh paint and seeing the sun for the first time in a long time. Still to go: new panel and electrical system, install new main canopy, manufacture front canopy, design and print a new forward glare shield.

It’s not flying yet but the magical 8 panel glider was rigged today. Huge progress has been made. Tim brought his Sisu down from Oregon so we could compare. He also spent the last week re-assembling all the little parts.
