You cant start off a adventure on a empty stomach. So before heading north we stopped in to fresh off the farm llc in scio, ohio for some breakfast. Food was great and the prices were even better. We fed a family of 4 for 35.00. After breakfast a few buildings down the street you can find the main street bakery with fresh pastries for any one to enjoy.

This town has alot to offer. Several places to eat on the same street "The restaurant", Fresh off the farm llc , theres a pub and pangrazios pizza, spaghetti and B&F ice cream shop on the back corner of the town. The conotton creek bike trail. Stretches through the town next to the rail road tracks. Looks like more shops will be opening in the old buildings as well bringing some new life in.

We explored mohican state park this weekend to do some hiking and camping. Those little legs did around 5 miles of intense beautifull hiking.

Covered bridge, big Lyons falls, dam, pleasant hill, gorge over look loop, steep side down hill to the suspension bridge. The .5 mile decent is a challenge especially with small children. But was one heck of a accomplishment for them and us 🤘

What a beautiful area to explore!

Ovando. Montana. Population 83. A large town in comparison to others we passed through. The historic Blackfoot commercial store thats been around since 1897, the ovando inn, diner, and angler shop, and home to the non profit Blackfoot Challenge where I stoped in to have a chat and learn about all the things they do to preserve the rural way of living.

"The mission of the Blackfoot Challenge is to coordinate efforts to conserve and enhance natural resources and the rural way of life in the Blackfoot watershed for present and future generations"

They do an immense amout of work in the area putting fences up to protect live stock and protecting the land from housing developments who would most certainly turn montana into the suburbs.

As the sign reads "midwest largest bicycle sculpture" highway oddities are the best. This may be easy to find if traveling on pavement in south dakota but we rode 165 miles of the Backcountry Discovery Routes SDBDRX to see this.

Camping in the montana back country could be the most beautiful thing you do on the montana Backcountry Discovery Routes but sometimes you need the convenience of Rosaurs in libby montana so you camp directly behind it.

Pokebridge,MT with census population of 14 it may just be the smallest town ive ever been to.
A wedding was going on so this little town was very busy while we were there. I enjoyed some food from the sallon and a bear claw pastry from the mercantile.

We called this town home for the night to give us a early start for something i have been waiting to do for some time now. I had planned to ride this road many years ago on the victory cross country but that never happend. Fortunately the t7 was just a worthy to carry me across it and so it did.

Like good friends do, tyler and I would leave nick behind today. His shoulder badly bruised from the fall off the the bridge on the BDR. At 45 degrees and no cold weather gear to speak of we woke up fast after leaving the hostel in the mirrors at six a.m .

Entering glacier national Park and on to the sun road. A absolutely stunning and limitless views that quickly warmed the souls of the cold bodies carring them up the mountain.

The pictures of the sun road do not do it justice. I can only imagine if heaven has a front porch this will be the view from it.
