I don’t usually post anything much on here unless it’s about my gym my students my athletes my gym or something positive and happy.

Never have posted anything that is political because it is not my place to do so.

Over the past year there is a rise in hatred toward anyone of Asian dissent. And now we see more and more violence toward anyone of Asian dissent.

I have experienced these kinds of Hate first hands when I first came to America. I came to America at the end of Vietnam war. Every day my family and I was told to go back to our country and everyone called us G***s. Not even know what that word means I actually hated them for it.  plotting a revenge was how I started martial arts. But it turned out very differently for me.

I have witnessed witness firsthand what a retaliation of he looks like, because of all the heat that is going on in Lowell Massachusetts during that time, One of the biggest Cambodian gang in the United States was formed as a form of retaliations. The leader of that gang was my classmate. The retaliation got so out of hand that there was a curfew in Lowell Massachusetts when I was growing up.

I am writing this to plead and hope anyone who sees it and pass it along that he does not bring peace. As I scroll through Facebook I saw three or four of my Cambodian friends sons and daughter returning home after six months from serving in the military to protect Americans, right after the news I saw of Asian American being slaughtered got a massage parlor. I could not help myself but write this message.

To both my Asian friends and family as well as all my American friends and families, please do not let a few bad apples influences us to hate One another.

I hope life brings you all peace joy love and happiness.
