There will always be another deadline, another responsibility, another reason to put the trip off until later. But there are also moments in life that you don't get to recreate. 🌍💛 The family trip everyone remembers. The birthday you celebrated somewhere completely new. The girls' trip that turned into a friendship tradition. The solo journey that gave you a fresh perspective. The spontaneous weekend that became one of your favorite memories.

Travel doesn't have to be about going the farthest or spending the most. Sometimes it's simply about giving yourself permission to experience something different and creating memories with the people who matter—or with yourself.

The destination has been chosen. The dates have been discussed. The mood board has been made. The group chat is suddenly very quiet. 😂😂

Because planning the trip is one thing... getting everybody to actually commit is another story! One person needs to check their PTO. Someone else is waiting on payday. Another person says they need to "think about it." Meanwhile, there's always one friend who has already bought the outfit. 👀✈️

But when everyone finally gets on the same page, that's when the fun really begins. The countdown starts, the itinerary comes together, and suddenly everybody is talking about the trip like it's tomorrow.

Be honest: Are you the planner, the early booker, the "I'm down for whatever" friend, or the one who needs 47 reminders? 😂

We all need those people who don't just talk about traveling... they actually make the group chat happen. 😂🌍 The friend who sends the flight options. The one who finds the perfect hotel. The one already researching restaurants before anyone has picked a destination. And somehow, there's always one person who says, "I'm down!" before the conversation is even finished. 😂

Travel is even better when you have people who are excited to experience it with you. The shared laughs, the inside jokes, the spontaneous plans, the "remember when..." stories you bring home... those are the moments that make a trip unforgettable. ✈️

The countdown to your next group trip may have begun—but before you start packing, a little preparation will help you travel with less stress and enjoy every moment.

Here are five things to check before your next BaeCation:

1. Check Your Passport

Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Also, confirm whether you need a visa or any additional entry documents.

2. Protect Your Trip

Unexpected situations happen. Travel insurance can protect you against medical emergencies, cancellations, delays, and lost luggage. Always review the coverage before purchasing.

3. Budget Beyond the Package

Your package may cover the major expenses, but remember to plan for meals, shopping, excursions, transportation, tips, and personal spending.

4. Plan Your Outfits Early

Check the weather, dress codes, and planned activities before packing. Coordinating your outfits early helps you avoid overpacking—and ensures you’re ready for every picture-worthy moment.

If half the group wants relaxation and the other half wants nonstop activities, you may end up with a vacation nobody fully enjoys.

Ask the group to vote on three things first:

First, a BIG S/O to everybody who came out and supported — all my Travel Baes who showed up and showed OUT! 🥰🛥️

Y’all really helped bring my vision to life because listen… I was gonna be on somebody’s boat regardless — even if I was on there by my damn self acting real City Girlish! 😂🤣💃🏽 I NEEDED that adult time, that space to let loose, laugh, disconnect and just HAVE A BALL!

So thank you to the Baes who showed up, and also to those who purchased tickets but unfortunately couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances. Your support still means so much to me. ❤️
