This is what spring break looks like when we plan it.

This isn’t the exception—it’s the norm for our spring break trips.

We helped families:
- choose the right destination (even when they were torn between completely different trips)

Parents don’t default to waterslides and constant entertainment because they WANT to travel that way.

They default there because they’re tired.
Because they’re carrying the whole trip.

Switzerland has been my 2025 love story. ❄️🌿

The Caribbean is where Mango Tree started… and three years later, it’s still our #1 destination.

When I launched this business, I had a tiny list of boutique Caribbean hotels and a big belief that family travel could feel good for parents too.

That I could show families that they were better off, skipping the huge all-inclusive resorts and choosing a place with a real personality.

Somehow, three years later, those same hotels are STILL some of our most-booked!

They were the first places I ever sent Mango Tree families… and they’re the ones you keep coming back to. And I noticed that I still get a buzz of excitement when you choose one of these hotels. That part makes my heart full.

And this week feels full circle!! One of our team members is on a FAM trip to Bonaire and Curaçao right now with one of the partners who cheered me on from the very beginning — refreshing our knowledge, revisiting old favorites, and checking out what’s new.

So yes, we’re expanding into France, Scotland, Costa Rica, and beyond.

But the Caribbean?

It will always be home base.

Of course your KIDS will love Costa Rica.

How could they not? Most kids will find something to love in the magical land of hanging bridges, zip lines, surf lessons, sloths and toucans.

But here’s the plot twist I want you to consider for your 2026 trip: You might enjoy yourself here, too.

When I went last year, I discovered I’m the mom who jumps off the ledge, who says yes to the zip line, who wakes up early when others are sleeping to hike to the waterfall. I found a little piece of my adventurous side again — and it felt really, really good.

So maybe 2026 isn’t just about showing your kids the world.

If you’ve been around here for a bit, you know I don’t expand to new destinations lightly. But this year? You all kept nudging me toward England and Scotland with your inquiries… and I followed the breadcrumbs.

And wow—I’m glad I did. Planning your trips was a blast. Between London’s energy, Edinburgh’s charm, and the countryside hotels that feel like they were plucked from a storybook, I’m hooked.

So much so that I’m prioritizing my own scouting trips next year: Scotland in March, and a summer return to London plus Cornwall (with surfing yes of course).

What I love most about the UK for families is the mix:
✨ Castles, history, and those wide-open landscapes that feel quietly spellbinding
✨ Magical moments for kids (animal encounters, wild gardens, Harry Potter and more)
✨ Boutique countryside hotels where parents exhale

So if England or Scotland are whispering to you for 2026… I’m all in.
