Our road east of red lake remote has decided to break up. A new road has been established west of the new road. Use the new road not the old one. If traveling west or east use the steel plates to cross as the crack covers several miles, north and south.

The past couple of days have been exceptional for fishing. It seems that most houses are enjoying fish fries, with many anglers returning with limits or near limits of fish. Meanwhile, we are preparing for the impending snowstorm and strong winds.

Sunday, December 28, 2025, weather update: There has been some precipitation overnight, resulting in a layer of ice on windshields and likely on the roads as well. Although snow has not yet arrived, winds exceeding 10mph are a precursor, with snowfall imminent.
