In 1991 Clarke Palmer Sr built the Kent Tanker that was just purchased by the City of Waterbury. In 2010 Craig Palmer Sr built Engine 11 for the city, that is now Engine 24. Old Engine 11 was retired and a new Engine 11 was built by Craig Palmer Jr for the city in 2024. Gowans Knight is all about tradition and this is one we are proud to continue
