☀️Good afternoon Roo Band families!
Our monthly meeting will be Tuesday, 6/2 at 6pm in the band room.
We are working on getting committees together for the upcoming marching season, including uniforms, 🍕🌯💧food & hydration, and fundraising. 💵
If you are interested in joining a committee, consider attending this meeting, ➡️ESPECIALLY fundraising⬅️ as we have to start sourcing sponsorships for the year now.

Several Fightin’ Roo Band students competed at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest today! Congratulations to the following students for their hard work and for performing at a high caliber.

That is a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year for your FRB! We will see you for the start of summer band practices on July 20th. Go Roos!

Congrats to the Fightin’ Roo Band - Class of 2026! We are so proud of you and the amazing accomplishments you have achieved as a part of the Roo Bands. This program is stronger because you were a part of FRB. We can’t wait to see what you achieve in your bright futures. And as always - GO ROOS!!!!

Before the final concert of the school year last night, we got to honor 10 outstanding graduates from the FRB class of 2026. The following Fightin’ Roo Band seniors will continue in music ensembles as they venture into their collegiate studies. We are excited to see where their university music experience takes them. As always, thank you for continuing to make Roo Nation proud!

Congrats to WHS Percussion on their fantastic concert on Saturday! These kids work all year round to grow as musicians and it shows!

Congrats to all the Roo Guard members who competed at NTCA Solo & Ensemble contests over the last two weekends! We are excited to announce all competitors earned superior ratings!

Senior Keira Gage also earned a high enough score to qualify for All-Stars Recognition! We are proud of you all for representing the program at such a high caliber!
