Science Club for Girls Wellesley College Campus Chapter

Science Club for Girls Wellesley College Campus Chapter Science Club for Girls is a science-enrichment program that connects young girls in the Greater Boston Area to college-aged mentors.

The Wellesley College Chapter of SCFG volunteers on a weekly basis with mentors from colleges all over Massachusetts to teach a specific topic in the sciences to young girls, over the course of a semester. SCFG programs are held on Saturdays at Pine Manor College in Newton, MA from 2:30-4:45pm. Transportation is provided for all programs. The Wellesley College Chapter has also partnered with SCFG

to design and teach a curriculum called SLAM DUNK (Science Learning and Mentoring: Discovering and Understanding New Knowledge). Additionally, the Wellesley Chapter of SCFG regularly partners with local schools to hold Science Fairs and other science-enrichment programs.
