What an incredible weekend we had at the Elizabeth Stampede ❤️

Friday night, we had the honor of escorting the heroes of AirLife—an experience that truly reminds us why we love being part of these special moments.

Saturday afternoon, we proudly carried the family of Carnahan Ranches into the arena for their well-deserved recognition.

And Saturday night… was one we will never forget. We had the absolute privilege of giving a very special ride to Emmy 💛 A true little warrior, Emmy has been bravely fighting cancer since she was just 20 months old and rang the bell this past January! Now 3½ years old, she brought so much light and joy to the arena. We are beyond honored to have played a small part in what we hope is a memory she and her family will cherish forever.

A huge thank you to Monica of Crow Creek Events for helping make the moment even more magical with a special friend for Emmy—one that looked just like Hannah 🐴 And thank you for letting Hannah join Tom in the rodeo arena.

We are so proud of Kyle, Hannah, and Tom for the care, professionalism, and heart they put into every single ride this weekend. It’s moments like these that remind us how special it is to be able to recognize and celebrate such amazing people.

And a special thank you to Messer Arena and Event Center for hosting Hannah and Tom overnight for a well-deserved night of rest—we truly appreciate your hospitality!

Was a great day at the National Trails Day event held by the Town of Superior, Colorado - Government! We always have a great time letting people get to experience the trail in a unique way and guests usually get to see some wildlife while at it. Thank you to Mike Murray and Corie Olson for your help while Kyle was down at the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo. Ruby and Remy did a great job as always!

Busy day today and tomorrow. Today was a great day at the Elizabeth Stampede. Tom and Hannah did amazing with the helicopter fly over. We hope the honorees had a great evening getting recognized for their heroism. You can check us out on the Cowboy Plus Channel tomorrow at 1pm and 7pm too!

I left Kyle down in Elizabeth, so I can do the Town of Superior's National Trails Day event. We always have a great time with them. I will then run back to Elizabeth to help Kyle with the 7pm rodeo. That's if our Dakota girl is not ready to come home from the vet, but we are really hoping she will be. More on that story tomorrow or Sunday, but for now it's time to get a few short zzzzzzs in. Good night 🌙.

We are so excited to announce a new partnership with the Elizabeth Stampede!

Diamond SR Carriage will have the honor of bringing in the Guest of Honor for Friday night’s rodeo, as well as both performances on Saturday. It’s truly a privilege to be part of such a special tradition, and we can’t wait to help create unforgettable moments for those being recognized.

There’s nothing we love more than making people feel special, and we’re looking forward to doing just that in Elizabeth!

We had a great long weekend in Grand Junction at the Western States Draft Horse Classic competing in the farm team events. King and Kole unfortunately were out of commission for show, but as you all know Taylor van Zyl graciously allowed me to use her team, Thunder and Chance. I shared Tom and Hannah the last day to help ease the last day of needing to get packed up and started towards home because of incoming weather. We had so much fun, met some really great people, and spent time with past friends as well. Monica did great as well and we hope to show you all some more of our upcoming adventures.

Our placings this weekend:

Log Skid: Monica- 3rd
Erin- 5th

Obstacle: Monica- NT
Erin- 3rd

Barrel Race: Monica- 4th
Erin- 3rd

Feed Team Final (aggregate of times over 3 days): Monica- 7th

Oh boy, do we have a lot to share from our adventure at the Western States Draft Horse Classic in Grand Junction, CO with Monica of Crow Creek Events!

We had a long haul up on Thursday, but still managed to have some fun—and the horses traveled great. Friday morning we got up early, harnessed, and headed out for some pre-show driving. While driving, we noticed King was off in his front right with some slight lameness. As always, our motto is horses come first, so we made the call not to run him.

We started working on a backup plan—possibly running Tom and Hannah twice, once with Monica and once with Erin—but our friend Taylor P stepped in and made a call to find another team. And he delivered!

A huge THANK YOU to Taylor van Zyl of Pair of Dice Carriages for letting Erin run her team of Percherons this weekend. They’ve been such good boys! Definitely a different feel than King and Kole, but we’ve truly enjoyed working with them and are so appreciative of the opportunity.

So far, Erin has taken 3rd in Obstacle and 5th in Log Skid, and Monica has taken 3rd in Log Skid as well!

Tomorrow at 1 PM we take on a mystery pattern and the Feed Team Finals—hands down the most fun event of all three days. There’s talk of rain, but we’ll see what Mother Nature has in store!

Join us with Monica Dominguez from Crow Creek Events this weekend as we go compete in the farm team classes at the Western States Draft Horse Classic show in Grand Junction. Erin Murray will be driving our team King and Kole for their first ever show. We are excited to see how they do! And Monica will be driving Tom and Hannah for their first time as a trio! We will be videoing and trying to do some lives throughout the weekend, so join along as you can.
