Happy Friday everyone! Where has this month gone? We already are at another run day tomorrow, Saturday 8/29, from 9-1. With that said, we apologize for the short notice post, but we were waiting on confirmation of a couple things. So....
First, we ask for your patience. Due to family stuff with several of our volunteers, we have been and are going to be somewhat short staffed for awhile.
Second, we want to give a shout out to one of our shop guys, Brad, for coming down over the last couple weeks and putting in a bunch of hours. At our last run, our fairly reliable, trusty "ferro-equine" 2003 had a failure on the cooling fan. It sucked in the insulation surrounding it, and after repairing that and cleaning up a bunch of wiring, everything runs well!
3rd and finally: we are happy to announce that we finally have more merch! We are offering (initially) a limited run of adult t shirts (S-2XL) and hats with our original "steam engine" logo. We will be getting kids sizes soon too. Adult size shirts are $20, hats are $25. Eventually we will offer other designs as well, so stay tuned! We also would like to thank Bear Signs and Embroidery for fast and efficient service! This is the second local business to work with us on a neat project! Who is next? We will see!
