Introducing Unit #873 — Built to Work. 💪

We’re excited to introduce the first of two new trucks joining the Tarantino Transportation fleet — Unit #873, a 2027 Kenworth W900 heavy haul tractor.

This truck was built specifically for one of our most senior drivers, Doug, and we added a few tasteful touches along the way to make it a true Tarantino truck. While a few finishing pieces are still missing due to backordered parts, we decided it had spent enough time waiting around.

It was time to put it to work.

And what better way to break in a new heavy haul truck than with two Volvo 750 high-reach excavators back-to-back?

🚛 Virginia → Atlanta
🚛 Mississippi → Tennessee

Grossing approximately 235,000 lbs. With our 12-axle Talbert lowboy, Unit #873 handled its first assignments exactly the way we hoped it would.

We take a lot of pride in our equipment, but these trucks are built for a purpose: giving our drivers the right tools to safely and efficiently serve our customers.

Not a bad first two weeks on the job for #873.

This is a REGIONAL position.
Our ideal candidate is comfortable being out most of the week and home weekends. Consistent loads, consistent miles, consistent pay.

🚛 Fun Fact! 🚛

Tarantino Transportation has been in business since 2011, and over the years we’ve owned a lot of trucks. But believe it or not, this is our very first brand-new truck!

It’s been a long time coming, and we’re excited to put the finishing touches on it and get it out on the road serving our customers. We couldn’t be more proud to add this truck to our fleet.

Another sharp Kenworth W900 has found its new home with Tarantino Transportation! Equipped with a Cummins X15 engine, this truck is ready to tackle the miles ahead and get the job done in style.

This Memorial Day, we remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice built and protected the freedoms that allow businesses, families, and communities across this nation to thrive.

Today we honor those heroes and extend our gratitude to the military families who carry their memory forward every day.

Some days test you… and this was one of them.

But at Tarantino Transportation, our problems never become the customer’s problem.

When this truck went down in the middle of a job with a broken driveshaft, we didn’t hesitate. We called in Coastal’s heavy wrecker, had them grab a spare truck, swapped them out onsite, updated permits, and got that load back on the road where it belongs.

No excuses. No delays passed on. Just solutions.

Because we don’t just move freight — we provide service. Real service. The kind that puts our customers first every single time, even when it costs us.

Sometimes you make money… sometimes you don’t. But our customer’s success will always outweigh our bottom line.
