• Formerly the Town of Bristol, the community incorporated as a village in 2010.
• Bristol is known for the Bristol Renaissance Faire, where visitors step back into 16th-century England! 🏰
• The Faire spans 30 acres, with open-air stages featuring swordfighters, minstrels and jesters.

Our safety tour continued this week in Rhinelander, Wisconsin! 🍂🚛

We have a small but mighty crew up north. They’re reliable, dedicated and keep the mail moving through all kinds of Wisconsin weather. Their location means we don’t get to catch up in person as often as we’d like, but it’s always wonderful to spend time with them.

Thank you to our Rhinelander team for everything you do! The beautiful fall colors in the Northwoods made the visit even better

🚛 McRae’s Safety Tour Continues! 📬

Last Wednesday and Thursday, we took our safety meetings on the road again, this time visiting our teams in Eagan, Minnesota and Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

It was another great opportunity to connect face to face with our drivers, answer questions, talk through concerns, and reinforce the safety practices that matter every single day.

A big focus of these meetings was getting back to the basics: chocks, locks, and vests. They may seem like simple things, but they are critical to keeping our drivers, Postal employees, equipment, and facilities safe. Safety has to be part of every stop, every trip, and every shift.

More importantly, we appreciate the time our drivers took to join us and be part of the conversation. Our drivers are the ones out there representing McRae’s every day, and these meetings give us a chance to listen, learn, and make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

Thank you to our Eagan and Eau Claire teams for the warm welcome and for everything you do to keep the mail moving. We appreciate your hard work, professionalism, and dedication more than you know.

📍 Monday McRae’s Mail Stop! 📫

This week we’re stopping in Stone Lake, Wisconsin!
McRae’s has been making the stop in Stone Lake since April 2017. When the Spooner postal facility closed, mail processing was moved to the Eau Claire P&DF, and McRae’s began providing transportation to Stone Lake as part of that transition.

💡 Did you know?

• Stone Lake’s first settlers arrived in the 1880s, with logging and farming playing an important role in the community’s early years.

• The original Soo Line depot, built in 1911, still stands today and is part of the Stone Lake Area Historical Museum.

• Stone Lake is well known for its lakes, Northwoods recreation and its annual Cranberry Festival, which has become a longtime community tradition.

What started with a change in the Postal Service network in 2017 has now become more than nine years of McRae’s keeping the mail moving to Stone Lake.

The prizes are always fun, but the real focus is recognizing the people who keep our company moving every day. Our drivers are the backbone of McRae’s. They are on the front line, representing our company, serving our customers and delivering the mail safely and reliably.

We would not be the company we are without them. Our responsibility is to make sure they know how valued they are and that they have the support, resources and appreciation they deserve.

This week, we will continue our safety meetings in Minnesota and Eau Claire, so there are more photos and more driver appreciation to come!

🚛 Driver Appreciation Week at McRae’s 📬

Yesterday, we completed 16 hours of driver safety meetings in Milwaukee. With morning, afternoon, and evening sessions, we were able to connect with drivers across our 24 hour operation.

Driver Appreciation Week made the day even more meaningful. We shared a taco bar, gave away some great raffle prizes, discussed safety, answered questions, and welcomed two representatives from the local Postal Service who shared their perspective with our drivers.

One of my favorite conversations was with a driver who has been hauling mail since 1985. Forty years of keeping the mail moving is an incredible example of dedication.

Kelly McRae also recognized our strong on time performance and the role every employee plays in maintaining the reputation McRae’s has built. Those results come from drivers who show up in every season, at every hour, and in every kind of weather.

To all McRae’s drivers, thank you for your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to safety. We appreciate you this week and every week!

📍 Monday McRae’s Mail Stop! 📫

This week we’re stopping in Port Washington, Wisconsin (53074)!

McRae’s has proudly provided mail transportation services in Port Washington since 1994, beginning with a box truck route. In 2015, our service expanded to include tractor-trailer transportation, helping us move even more mail throughout southeastern Wisconsin. 🚛📬

Port Washington is a beautiful lakeside community with a population of approximately 12,353.

• Port Washington was originally settled as “Wisconsin City” before being renamed in honor of President George Washington.
• The community began as a historic fishing village and is now known for its picturesque harbor and iconic lighthouse. ⚓🌊
• Port Washington is the county seat of Ozaukee County and was officially incorporated as a city in 1882.

This week we’re stopping in Hartland, Wisconsin (53029)!

Hartland’s postal history dates all the way back to 1846, when the community’s first Post Office opened with William Clark serving as its first Postmaster. 📮

💡 Did you know?
• McRae’s has been making stops at the Hartland Post Office since 1987, when we first began servicing the location with a box truck. In 2017, we began bringing tractor trailers into Hartland while subbing for URSA Logistics, and in 2023, we added our own tractor trailer route serving this Post Office. 🚛
• The railroad arrived in Hartland in 1854 and played an important role in helping the community grow and develop. 🚂

Nearly 40 years after our first box truck pulled into Hartland, you can still find McRae’s alongside the USPS, helping keep the mail moving through Hartland and communities across Wisconsin.

Another stop. Another community. Another part of the network that keeps America’s mail moving.
