As we're celebrating our 115th anniversary, we're taking the time to highlight our past. This week we're focusing on the 1990s.

In the 90s, WBT heavily focused on creating a quality brand and image. To do this, we put ourselves into the building process of our trucks. Making the trip to Navastar, we helped design every detail of our trucks. Below are some images from one of the trips made to watch the trucks being made.

This week we are featuring the 1980s, as we are celebrating our 115th anniversary. The 1980s was a time of celebration for West Bend Transit. The first image pictures a retirement party held for a long time employee. The second image shows the 1983 West Bend Fourth of July parade, with one of our trucks pulling the West Bend Little League team.

Our Veteran's Affairs Coordinator Ray and President Chris had the pleasure of golfing in the 30th annual ESGR golf outing. Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve helps to foster cooperation between National Guard/Reserve service members and their civilian employers.

As we celebrate our 115th year, this week we highlight WBT in the 1970s.

Throughout the 1960s and 70s, many trucking companies made the transition from gasoline to diesel trucks. This picture shows West Bend Transit's first ever diesel run trucks, purchased by president Carl Schloemer and son Henry C. Schloemer.

In addition, during this decade, the logo of West Bend Transit was changed from the signature logo (in use since the founding of the company) to the logo visible in the picture seen below. The new logo stayed in use until 1993, when it was then changed back to the original signature logo.
