The Disney Wish is coming to NEW YORK… and parents, you need to see this part. 👀🥂

We brought FOUR kids on a Disney cruise, but tonight?? The parents have plans.

Our date night started with cocktails at The Rose before heading to Palo Steakhouse for Prima Notte. It’s an adults-only food and wine tasting on the first night of your cruise, with Italian wines, delicious small bites, and a sommelier guiding you through the pairings. Getting dressed up and enjoying something together that doesn’t involve cutting anyone else’s food? Yes, please!!

THIS is the part of a Disney cruise I wish more parents knew about. We get the family memories we came for AND a night that feels like a vacation for us, too. 💙

And with the Disney Wish sailing from New York beginning in fall 2027, this could be your next cruise date night (please take other dates between now and September 2027 though 🤣) - no flight to Florida required!!

Send this to the person you’d be leaving the kids’ club pickup to… just kidding. Send it to your date. 😉

What’s on my mind? GROUPS. So many groups.

Disney groups. Punta Cana groups. Barbados. Jamaica. Disney Cruise Line. Royal Caribbean. We were looking ahead at 2027 and thinking about how many amazing places clients are already traveling together next year, and I LOVE it. Extended families, groups of friends, milestone birthdays, multi-generational vacations… apparently 2027 is the year we are all bringing everyone with us!!

But it also got me thinking about something I don't talk about enough, which is how much easier it is to travel with a group when you have someone else coordinating the actual group.

Coming up with the idea is easy.... You throw it in the group chat, everyone gets excited, people start sending resorts and TikToks back and forth, and suddenly 25 people are going to Jamaica.

And then someone has to actually organize 25 people. 😂

Who has booked and who hasn't? Which family needs two beds? Who needs connecting rooms? Who is flying from a different airport? Who wants a Butler, and how do we handle it when someone has one and someone else doesn't? When is everyone's final payment due? Can we all eat together? Are we doing excursions together? Does everyone need the same transfers? Did someone go rogue and try to book on their own, only to find out they can't be counted as part of the group? And why is the person who originally suggested the trip suddenly responsible for answering every question anyone has about it?

This is exactly why we LOVE coordinating groups.

If you're the one who gets your family or friends together for a trip, you don't also have to become everyone's unpaid travel advisor for the next nine months... that's our job.

Each family can work directly with me. I can help one family figure out which room works for their three kids while another couple decides they want an ocean view. I can keep track of who has booked, make sure everyone knows about payment deadlines, coordinate transfers and arrival information, help with dining, excursions and activities, and work through all of the random little things that come up along the way.

And maybe most importantly, everyone gets to ask ME their questions instead of asking you. 😂

There are things happening behind the scenes too that most people wouldn't necessarily know to look for. Depending on where you're traveling and how many rooms you need, I can look at whether it makes more sense to book everyone individually or set up an actual group. There are different group types... do you want a contract? A code? Who gets the free room credit? There may be group rates, room blocks, credits, upgrades or other perks available. With cruises, I can work on getting reservations linked, coordinating dining and requesting rooms near each other. At an all-inclusive, we may be able to look at private transfers, excursions or even private events that wouldn't make sense for one family but suddenly DO make sense when 20 people are traveling together.

And this is why one of the biggest pieces of advice I can give you is to bring me in before everyone starts booking on their own!

It is SO much easier for me to figure out the best way to set everything up when involved from the beginning than it is for me to try to piece together ten vacations that everyone already booked separately.

Also, when I say "group," I don't mean you need 50 people. It could be grandparents taking all of their kids and grandkids to Disney. Five families who want to go to Punta Cana together. A 40th or 50th birthday in Jamaica. A friends' trip to Barbados. A big family Disney Cruise. A few families who decide they want to try Royal Caribbean together.

Those are exactly the kinds of trips where having one person keeping track of the big picture can make SUCH a difference.

Because if you're the person who said, "Wouldn't it be fun if we all went somewhere together?" you should get to actually enjoy the trip too. You shouldn't spend the next year collecting everyone's information, forwarding confirmation numbers, reminding people to make payments and fielding 400 texts from your family.

You gather the people. We'll coordinate the trip.

And judging by what we already have on the books for 2027… you guys have some REALLY good group trips coming!! 🌴✈️🚢

I know what happens when people see the price of a Disney Cruise.
They look at the number and immediately think: NOPE. Too expensive.

But here’s the thing…
There is a reason we hear some version of “Well, now Disney ruined every other cruise line for us” ALL. THE. TIME.

The price you see upfront includes SO much of the experience.

You’re not immediately adding a soda package for the kids.
You’re not trying to figure out which areas of the private island are included and which ones cost extra.
You’re not setting alarms to make reservations just to see the evening show.
You’re not spending every night figuring out where everyone is going to eat!!

You get onboard and so much of it is just… easy.

✨ Broadway-style Disney shows are included.

🍽️ Rotational dining means your family gets to experience different themed restaurants throughout the cruise — while your serving team rotates with you. They get to know your family, your preferences, what the kids like and probably who needs extra ketchup before they even ask. 😂

🥤 Soda, coffee and tea are included at the beverage stations and during meals.

🏝️ Disney’s private-island experiences have beautiful beaches and spaces for families AND adults without needing to pay for an upgraded beach club just to have an amazing day.

👑 And the kids clubs??? Calling them “kids clubs” almost feels wrong.

These aren’t rooms where someone is just keeping an eye on your children while you go have dinner. They are incredibly immersive Disney spaces with experiences themed around some of the characters and stories your kids already love.

There is a very real possibility that your children will NOT want to leave.

Which means…
The adults actually get a vacation, too!!

Adults-only pools. Beautiful lounges. Quiet spaces where you can sit without anyone asking you for a snack every four minutes.
And if you want to add a special experience for a charge - The spa. Adults-only dining.

Everybody gets their version of vacation!

And NOW we have something especially exciting for those of us in the Northeast:

🗽 The Disney Wish is sailing from NEW YORK CITY in fall 2027!

No buying airfare for an entire family to Florida.
No airport day.
No worrying about whether your flight will make it to Orlando in time.
Get yourselves to New York, get on the ship, and your vacation starts.

And you don’t have to pay for the entire cruise today. A deposit secures your reservation, and then you have plenty of time before final payment to pay toward your vacation.

But here’s something important if you’ve been watching the NYC sailings.....

We are already watching certain dates and stateroom categories disappear.

If the NYC sailing you wanted is already gone - don’t forget about FLORIDA.

Disney Cruise Line currently has sailings available to book all the way through May 2028, which gives us a LOT of dates to work with. Castaway Club is already booking these, but if you've never sailed with Disney, your window opens on September 8th!

If your dates are flexible, let us know your family size, general travel window and what you’d ideally like to spend (with flights)
We’ll help you look for a magical Disney sailing that actually works within your family’s budget!!

Sometimes changing the week, the ship, the departure port or even the length of the cruise can make a BIG difference in price.

So before you look at one Disney Cruise fare and decide, “Nope, we can’t afford Disney,” let us actually look.

Because there may be a Disney Cruise out there that fits your family much better than you think. 🚢✨

I don’t usually jump on here every time I book something for myself because, honestly, I’m basically never home, and “look where I’m going next!” isn’t exactly helpful travel advice....

But THIS one? I have to share.
I just booked a long weekend for two at the brand-new UNICO 18°77° Montego Bay next April…
🌴 Oceanfront swim-up room
🌴 Adults only
🌴 All-inclusive
🌴 Jamaica
🌴 And an incredible rate
I mean… come on.

Yes, I know the rule: “Never go to a resort right after it opens.”
And normally, I understand the hesitation. But if you go into an opening-year stay knowing that MAYBE a bar, restaurant or lounge isn't operating at 100% yet? I'm completely good with that trade-off at this price!!

Put me on a beach - or better yet, in my swim-up pool actual steps from the beach - in Jamaica, a short ride from the airport, with the hospitality I've come to expect from AIC Hotels?
Check. I’m there!!!

And here's why I'm telling YOU:
Opening-year rates at UNICO 18°77° are currently up to 50% off for stays from March through October 31, 2027.
Even better?
Just $200 down today.
Final payment isn't due until 45 days before travel.

That makes this SUCH a good opportunity for a couples getaway, anniversary trip, birthday trip, girls' weekend… or simply a we need to get out of here for four days trip!!

I booked mine. Who’s joining me?!

Comment JAMAICA or message me and I'll price your dates and the room category you actually want - because at 50% off, I don't expect the best rooms to hang around forever. 🌴

Last week, one client asked me if 2 was too young for Disney.
Another asked me if 12 was too old.
My answer to both was the same: No. ❤️

Today is our first day of school, and maybe that’s why those conversations are hitting me a little harder now….

Another summer is over. My kids are another grade older. And once again, I’m wondering how we got here so quickly!!

I’ve taken my children to Disney as babies and as big kids who are getting dangerously close to the age when hanging out with their parents isn’t always considered “cool.”
But the magic hasn’t disappeared. It has just changed….

At 2, the magic might be watching their face when they see Mickey for the first time, or their first Mickey Ice Cream Bar.
At 12, it might be staying out late, riding the biggest attractions together and laughing about something that becomes one of those stories your family tells forever. Or ordering filet mignon and lobster whenever they can 😅

We spend so much time wondering whether our children are the “perfect age” for a trip that sometimes we forget the truth:
There is no perfect age.
There is only the age they are right now.
And as parents, we are the magic makers. We create the excitement. We build the traditions. We give our kids reasons to keep wanting to experience the world - and spend time with us - as they get older!!

That’s also how I see my role as a travel advisor.
Sometimes I’m creating the itinerary so a mom or dad doesn’t have to carry the mental load of figuring out every step of the day.
Sometimes I’m arranging private transportation in another country so a family’s arrival feels exciting instead of uncertain.
And sometimes I’m awake at midnight securing the experiences that matter most for a big family taking their first cruise together.

My job isn’t just to book the trip. It’s to take away the stress so families can be present for the part they can never get back….
The first character hug.
The first big ride.
The first time seeing another country.
The inside jokes, the late nights and the memories that will still be talked about when those little kids are grown. And believe me, they will remember!!

Because the school years keep changing. The summers keep ending. And somehow, our babies just keep getting older….
Take the trip at 2.
Take it at 12.
Take it while they still want to hold your hand - and take it when they pretend they don’t. ✨

What am I booking right now? A LOT. ✈️🌴
And lately, it’s been a really fun mix of romance travel AND family travel.

So what does that actually look like?
💍 Honeymoons to Sandals Ochi, Sandals Dunn’s River and Sandals Negril in Jamaica
💍 Honeymoons to Sandals Royal Bahamian, Sandals Grande St Lucian, Sandals St Vincent, and Sandals Grenada
💍 A honeymoon to Hard Rock Riviera Maya - which I’m especially excited about after just getting back from visiting this resort myself!
🇮🇹 Honeymoons to the Amalfi Coast
🇫🇷 Honeymoons to Paris + the South of France
🥂 Anniversary travel to the brand-new UNICO Montego Bay - opening in March 2027!
🌴 A super fun group getaway to Sandals Royal Barbados
🚢 Disney Cruises aboard the Treasure, Wish and Destiny - PLUS a list of more than 20 families waiting for the new NYC sailings to open for booking this week! P.S. if I'm slow to respond on 9/2 and 9/3... you absolutely know why. THIS is why.
🏰 Walt Disney World vacations at Beach Club, Yacht Club, the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Caribbean Beach - including a really fun group heading to Caribbean Beach next fall for spooky season!
☀️ And spring break + summer break vacations to Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the Mediterranean and more.

And that's only a snapshot of what’s currently on my desk.

One day I’m helping a couple decide which Sandals resort feels right for their honeymoon. The next I’m figuring out which Disney resort works best for a family, comparing Caribbean resorts for spring break, or mapping out a European honeymoon.

I genuinely love that my business has grown into both sides of travel - the trips you take as a couple and the adventures you take as a family. From honeymoons and anniversaries to first Disney trips, big family vacations, cruises, milestone celebrations and those we’ve been talking about taking this trip forever trips.
To every single person who has trusted me with one of them: thank you. ❤️

These aren't just reservations on my calendar. They're honeymoons, celebrations, family memories and trips you've saved and planned for - and I never take it lightly that you trust me to be part of them.

And if you’re looking at everyone else’s travel photos and thinking, “Okay…where are WE going next?” - you know where to find me. ✈️

I’m checking in on my late-fall and early-winter client bookings right now, and all I have to say is: thank goodness these families planned ahead and booked early - just like I always recommend!!

Today, I compared current pricing for my families traveling to the Caribbean in January 2027, for example... Their exact accommodations now cost anywhere from $3,000 to $6,000 MORE than what we originally booked!!

Not different rooms. Not different travel dates. The same accommodations.

Winter is obviously an incredibly busy season in the Caribbean because everyone is trying to escape the freezing temperatures up north. The most desirable resorts, room categories and flight options don’t just become more expensive - they can sell out entirely.

This is why I say that if you have your eye on a specific vacation, book it early!! In many cases, you only need a deposit upfront, and the remaining balance isn’t due until much closer to travel. You’re securing the resort, room and pricing you want without paying for the entire trip at once.

I love spontaneity, and I love a last-minute getaway when the right opportunity appears. But... moving a whole family around last minute is more challenging than if it's just you and your partner, or you and a friend. And when you already know where you want to go.... especially during peak winter travel.... it’s almost always better to have your dream vacation safely on the calendar than to try to piece it together at the last minute!!

These families didn’t just save their rooms. They saved thousands of dollars!!!

A coati might run across your aisle. You can arrive at your Baraat on horseback - or in a Rock Star Ride. And your guests can order room service at 2 a.m. without pulling out their wallets...

This is why Hard Rock Riviera Maya is such an interesting destination wedding resort.

I’m breaking this property down from three different perspectives: romance travel, groups and family vacations. But I’m starting with romance.

✨ First, I genuinely love the way AIC Hotel Group handles weddings.

Couples normally begin working with their planner about six months before the wedding. For many couples, that’s completely fine.... They don’t need to discuss centerpieces a year and a half in advance.
BUT some couples absolutely do.

✨ AIC offers a Diamond Planning Package that lets those couples begin working with a planner much earlier. Does everyone need it? No. But I LOVE that the option exists for couples who want to start making decisions right away!!

⭐ Now let’s talk about the actual resort....

Hard Rock Riviera Maya is huge - 1,264 guest rooms divided between Hacienda, which welcomes families, and Heaven, which is exclusively for adults 18 and older.

For some people, the size will be a negative. For a destination wedding, it creates so many possibilities.

⭐ There are 26 wedding venues here. You can have a welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and farewell event without repeating the same setting.

There are rooftop terraces, beachfront locations, ballrooms, jungle-inspired spaces, a Catholic chapel and the new Sanctuary venue.... This is why I love it for couples who don’t just want a destination wedding. They want a destination WEEK.

⭐ And for a South Asian wedding with three or four days of celebrations? This property makes so much sense. You have the space and venue variety to make every event feel different, and I’ll help you match each one to the setting that works best for your vision!!

Yes, you can have a horse for your Baraat. I personally met Aladdino, and can confidently recommend him. If a horse isn’t your style, you can also make your entrance in a Rock Star Ride. 🚗

⭐ Each Classic Wedding Collection includes up to 32 guests before additional guest charges apply. That’s a higher starting number than many other resort companies offer.

❗And then there’s the food.

I’m picky about resort food, especially at an all-inclusive. If I’m suggesting your family and friends pay for a vacation to attend your wedding.... I need to know they’re going to eat well.

Hard Rock Riviera Maya absolutely delivered.

The plated dinners and hors d’oeuvres were excellent - and that told me a lot about what the resort can do for private wedding events....

There are currently nine restaurants, plus cafés, poolside options and 24-hour room service. Guests have unlimited à la carte dining, and standard restaurant reservations generally aren’t required.

✨ My favorites and recommendations:
• UMO for Yucatecan cuisine - think wood-fired cooking methods and a traditional Mayan pib (underground earthen oven!!)
• Wai for Thai food
• Toro for a steakhouse that also welcomes children
• Zen for hibachi-style dining and sushi
• Mocha lattes from Cafetto
• Chicken fingers from the pool bars or room service
• The breakfast burrito from room service (with steak! SO good)

UMO and Wai are adults-only restaurants, with priority access for guests staying in Heaven. We had the same waiter, Niko, at both restaurants, and he was incredible! He helped us choose his favorites from each menu, answered every question and went completely above and beyond.

✨I was also impressed by how seriously the resort treated food allergies. We were asked at every meal, and when someone had an allergy, the staff paid attention. That is a big deal when you’re bringing together a large, multigenerational group!!

✨The all-inclusive format also gives your guests predictability. Once their vacation is paid in full, they can eat, drink, order room service and enjoy the resort without needing to spend more money unless they choose to.
That matters when you’re asking people to travel for you.

✨The split between Hacienda and Heaven also means your guests have options. Families can stay on the Hacienda side, while adults who want a more grown-up atmosphere can choose Heaven. Different room categories provide options for different budgets, too.

⭐And for the honeymoon?

I would absolutely send the right honeymoon couple here, especially if they want romance without spending the entire week at a quiet pool. I’d place them in Heaven, where they have an adults-only beach and pool, dedicated restaurants and spaces, plus access to the energy, entertainment and variety of the larger resort..... It’s romantic, but it isn’t sleepy.

The setting is also very different from a typical wide-open Caribbean beach. Hard Rock Riviera Maya has protected cove beaches created by rock breakwaters. If you need a long, uninterrupted beach for walking, this is not your resort.

But I loved the coves!!
The water is calm, there’s snorkeling, the fish are enormous - one briefly decided my toes were a snack - and the waves breaking against the rocks can create absolutely stunning wedding photos when timed correctly.

The entire resort feels like it’s tucked into the jungle. You’ll see coatis, monkeys, iguanas and tropical birds. The landscaping is lush, the property stretches along the water, and there are hot tubs right beside the sea.

❌ Who would I NOT send here?

Someone who wants a small, quiet and intimate resort.
Someone who needs the entire property to be adults-only.
Someone who wants sleek, ultra-modern architecture.
Someone who needs a huge, walkable beach.
Or someone who wants to stay very close to Cancun International Airport. From checking in with my transfer company to arriving at the resort, my trip took almost exactly one hour, including a short wait for my driver.

Hard Rock Riviera Maya is lively. There’s music, wildlife, nightlife and something happening throughout the day.
That won’t be right for every wedding - and that’s okay.

💃 But if you want your guests to leave saying, “That was the most fun wedding we’ve ever attended,” this resort needs to be on your list!!

💛 After meeting the wedding team, touring the venues, experiencing the food and seeing what they can create here, I would be incredibly excited to bring my couples’ wedding weeks to life at Hard Rock Riviera Maya!

Next up: why this resort works so well for group travel - even when nobody is getting married.

08/28/2026

Seven resorts. Seven very different vacations. And this is exactly why choosing a Sandals resort based on price alone isn’t always the best idea. 🌴

This week’s 7-7-7 offers include:

• Sandals Barbados — 6 nights, October 23–29, 2026: $4,073
• Sandals Grande Antigua — 6 nights, November 5–11, 2026: $4,792
• Sandals Caribbean Cay — 5 nights, February 11–16, 2027: $4,833
• Sandals Ochi — 6 nights in a butler suite, September 24–30, 2026: $5,513
• Sandals Royal Bahamian — 5 nights in a private-pool butler villa, October 9–14, 2026: $6,373
• Sandals Regency La Toc — 7 nights in a private-pool Rondoval butler villa, May 13–20, 2027: $8,369
• Sandals Montego Bay — 6 nights in a beachfront swim-up suite, March 24–30, 2027: $8,677

✨My honeymoon pick from this week’s list is Sandals Grande Antigua. It has a more traditional romantic Caribbean feel and sits on beautiful Dickenson Bay - and under $4,800 for six nights is a very compelling price!!

🌴 Sandals Barbados is the standout value for couples who want more dining, activity and a livelier atmosphere. Caribbean Cay is especially interesting because this stay is after the newly reimagined resort reopens, complete with its private offshore island experience!!

🤍 For a true honeymoon splurge, I’d look at the private-pool Rondoval at Regency La Toc. St. Lucia remains my number-one honeymoon destination, and this gives you seven nights, butler service and your own pool!

🥂 Ochi is the lowest-priced butler option this week, but it isn’t the resort I’d choose for most honeymooners. I prefer it for social couples, active vacations, girls’ trips and travelers who want a larger, livelier resort!!

Rates shown are for two adults and include the Sandals all-inclusive experience and roundtrip resort transfers. Airfare is additional. These offers must be booked by September 1 and remain subject to availability.

Tell me what kind of vacation you want, and I’ll help you choose the deal that actually fits - not simply the one with the lowest number.
