Before our truck pulls away, pack one bag with everything you’ll need to get through the day — and keep it in your car.

Here’s what goes in it:

1) Phone charger & portable battery — your phone will be your lifeline all day.
2) Toiletries & basic first aid — you may not find these boxes until day two.
3) Change of clothes — trust us on this one.
4) Snacks & water — moving is physical work. Don’t forget to eat and stay hydrated!
5) Important documents, IDs & medications — these should NEVER go on our truck.
6) Kids and/or pet essentials — keep the little ones comfortable and calm.

The rule is simple: if you think you’ll need it today or tonight, it goes in the bag — not on the truck.

2 WEEKS OUT — Most of the home: Kitchen extras, wall art, most of your wardrobe, and anything that isn’t part of your daily routine. Tell your family you’ll see them on the other side.

1 WEEK OUT — Daily essentials last: The stuff you use every single day — toiletries, everyday dishes, your go-to clothes. Pack these absolutely last so you’re not digging through boxes to find your toothbrush.
