We are a growing company in search of reliable and experienced Movers/Drivers. If you enjoy being active, working with your hands, seeing new places, problem solving, all while helping others— apply to join Moving Pieces, LLC based in West Hartford, CT.
Job functions will include everything from wrapping and moving furniture, loading PODs or other moving vehicles, to unloading and assembling furniture, beds, and staging these pieces as requested by customers. Additional functions include packing and boxing items which are sometimes fragile. We require candidates to be physically fit as work is labor intensive.
We are looking for a person who gets satisfaction from completing a job well-done and is constantly looking for ways to improve the services our team offers. In addition to helping execute moves, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory and training other employees.

Requirements:
• reliable transportation to work, valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• be able to lift up to 75 pounds for an extended period of time.
• Work safely with large as well as fragile items, limiting damage.
• Maintain Covid safety guidelines.
• Enjoy hard work, be dependable and reliable.
• be a team player, exhibit good attitude and communication skills.
• be willing to work a flexible weekly schedule.
• have prior experience and list references from similar jobs
Pay:
• Generous hourly rate with increases based on performance.
• Independent Contractor/ W-9.
