NOW HIRING Tow truck driver/ operator:


Pendleton’s Towing is looking to bring on new tow truck driver(s) / operator(s) to join our towing and recovery team. We will require you to operate one of our company vehicles, assisting our clients with breakdowns and accidents. Your duties will include driving to the site of the breakdown or accident, assessing the damage to the vehicle, making minor repairs, and towing the vehicle to a client requested location, company-approved service station or junkyard if required.

Tow Truck Driver/ Operator Responsibilities:
We are looking for experienced drivers with clean driving and background records. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Receiving communications from company dispatcher;
• Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident;
• Interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem;
• Performing roadside vehicle diagnostics;
• Performing minor repairs;
• Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires and reconnecting vehicle parts;
• Suggesting a course of action;
• Connecting the damaged vehicle to the truck with a chain, winch or steering block;
• Towing the vehicle to a client requested location, an authorized service station or junkyard;
• Reporting back to the office and completing necessary paperwork;
• Cash call outs;
• Private property impounds;
• Moving cars to various yard locations;
• Patrolling properties;

Tow Truck Operator Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age;
• CDL preferred, but not required;
• Clean driving record;
• Must be able to pass a background check;
• Must be able to pass a drug screen;
• Must be available to work on call for various shifts (mornings, days, evenings, graveyards and every other weekend);
• Experience with automotive maintenance and repairs;
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Good communication skills;
