Did you hear the news on Shopcast 286?

Corinne’s newest sweater design, Beauly, is coming this October! Named after one of Corinne’s favorite towns in Scotland, Beauly is a beautiful lace yoke sweater that we are so excited to finally share with you.

The pattern is being put through its paces by our wonderful test knitters right now, and some Beauly Sweaters are already coming off the needles! Renee was one of the first to finish hers, knit in wonderfully woolly Rauma Strikkegarn, and she absolutely loves it. 💚

We can’t wait to show you more as we get closer to the October release!

We spotted a wee discussion about veg (plant) matter in wool happening in our Facebook Group recently, and it immediately reminded us of this clip from Shopcast 286! 🌿

When you’re knitting with a minimally processed, woolly wool like Nutiden, you might occasionally find a tiny bit of grass, hay, or other veg matter tucked into the fiber.

We like to think of it as a little piece of the place where the sheep grew their fleece waving hello!

It’s one of the things we love about working with wool that still feels connected to the sheep, landscape, and people behind it.
