Join us for the Oishei Children's Hospital Day of Giving, a cause deeply personal to our CEO, Peter Wilson, and his wife, Debbie, whose son faced a serious injury in his youth. This major fundraiser, coinciding with (QB17) Josh Allen’s birthday, supports the hospital’s critical services. Josh, a supporter through the Patricia Allen Fund, may make a guest appearance. Sonwil is proud to have boots on the ground, taking your calls to raise funds for this vital cause.

Last week Sonwil hosted our first ever Wellness Fair! This was a great opportunity for our team members to learn more about their physical, mental, and financial wellness while getting outside and enjoying the fresh air. Some favorite activities included Zumba class and E-Bike riding. Thank you to all of our vendors for their participation!

On Friday, August 9th, Sonwil Enterprise hosted a luncheon to help raise money for the Sophia the Fierce Organization. Lunch was provided and cooked for our employees by Jeff McLelland, our Enterprise Infrastructure Manager, his wonderful wife Elizabeth and their amazing (2) daughters, EllaMaria and Gianna, pictured below on the right. The girls were able to present the donation check to Sophia's mom, Kristina Benintende, pictured on the left.

Reminder to our customers regarding the upcoming solar eclipse that will occur directly over our operations in Buffalo, NY and our facility in Arlington, TX. There will be major traffic congestion in the areas. Niagara Falls, NY is expected to have 1MM visitors to the area since this will be the best spot to watch totality. The bridges that cross from Canada into Buffalo, NY, will be backed up and delayed for what can be hours. We remind you to let your carriers know to give them enough time to travel through the congestion. We also ask that everyone keep safety in mind as we all navigate this rare event together. We are proactively planning our staffing levels to accommodate potential delays and an influx of work-in clients on the day of the eclipse.

Lastly, while Sonwil is open on Monday, April 8th, please note that we will be allowing our staff to take a break for a 24-minute period during the eclipse from 3:08pm to 3:32pm EST and from 1:30pm to 1:54pm CDT, which allows our employees time to observe and experience this historical event.
