Topsham Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club, Topsham Vermont

Topsham Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club, Topsham Vermont Vermont snowmobiling club, based in the Topsham, Newbury, Bradford area of Orange County VT. Topsham Ridge Runners started in the late 1960s.

It started out with only a few people being involved. As time went on, the membership swelled to over 500. Now we have just under 400 in our club. We all know that without our volunteers our clubs would go nowhere. It takes a lot of dedicated hard work to keep up with the trail work that needs to be done year to year. Whether it's putting up signs, cutting brush, repairing washed out trails, clear

ing downed trees, or putting in new bridges; there is always something to be done. There is no way this could be done if ti wasn't for the volunteers we have. It's been said before, and it'll be said again – Thank you very much for all your work. Out trail system is located in Topsham VT. Our trails connect to Corinth, Orange, Washington Newbury, and Groton trails. There are many beautiful views & sites to be seen as you ride. From there you can travel to the Upper Valley Grill (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Upper-Valley-Grill-General-Store/142746169114910) in Groton; the P&H truck Stop (http://www.roadfood.com/Restaurant/Reviews/179/ph-truck-stop) in Wells River; or the East Corinth General Store (https://www.facebook.com/pages/East-Corinth-General-Store/130266980360156)
to gas up your snowmobile, and get good food to eat. Some of our trails are on unplowed Class 4 town roads, but most are on privately owned property. Without the landowners giving us permission to use their land, we couldn't have the trail system we enjoy. Thank you to all of the landowners in our club! Please honor and obey all posted signs on the snowmobile trails. They are all posted for safety; and many are posted at the request of the landowner, so please respect them. Riding on their private property is a privilege, not a right. As easily as the landowners give us permission to ride, it can also be taken away just as quick. Please ride safely, respect others on the trails, the landowners; and most of all enjoy the scenery as you ride.
