Training for the moments you hope never happen—and must always be prepared to handle. ✈️

CommuteAir’s next group of Flight Attendants recently visited United’s InFlight Training Center in Houston to complete emergency slide and evacuation exercises as part of their E170 Transition Training.

Each crew member practiced evacuation commands, completed the timed drill and went down the slide—building the confidence and muscle memory needed when every second counts.

Congratulations to our Flight Attendants continuing their transition and thank you to our partners at United for hosting this important training!

The date is Orville Wright's birthday, born in Dayton, about two and a half hours down I-71 from our Cleveland office. Ohio has been in the aviation business a while.

A lot has changed since the bicycle shop. What hasn't: it still takes people who care to get an airplane off the ground safely. Every day, the C5 Family in Houston, Dulles, Cleveland and Albany does exactly that. We honor the mechanics, pilots, flight attendants, dispatchers, agents, and everyone behind them, connecting small communities to the rest of the world on our ERJ145 and E170 fleet.
