✨ Today’s Term: Disco Lights 🚨

Meaning: The flashing lights on an emergency vehicle, such as a police car, fire truck, or ambulance.

Drivers may use the term "disco lights" to quickly let others know there's an emergency vehicle or traffic stop ahead.

CB Example: "Watch your speed. There are disco lights up ahead."
Translation: There's an emergency vehicle with flashing lights ahead.

Whether it's a traffic stop or an accident scene, those disco lights are your cue to slow down, stay alert, and move over when it's safe to do so.

✨ Today’s Term: Wall-to-Wall and Treetop Tall 🌲

Meaning: A classic CB phrase used to tell another driver their radio signal is coming through loud and clear.

Before cell phone calls, drivers relied on CB radios. If someone told you that you were "wall-to-wall and treetop tall," it meant your signal was strong and easy to understand.

CB Example: "You're wall-to-wall and treetop tall, driver."
Translation: Your signal is coming through loud and clear.

CB Example: "I'm gonna get rolling. Catch you on the flip-flop."
Translation: Talk to you later.

Translation: Drive safe and have a good trip.

đź“» Sometimes the best CB sayings aren't warnings or directions - they're reminders to look out for one another.

CB Lingo 101: Got Your Ears On? đź“»

✨ Today’s Term: Deadhead 🚛

Meaning: Driving with an empty trailer - no freight on board.
When a driver is “deadheading,” they’re usually on the way to pick up their next load or repositioning after a delivery.

CB Example: “I’m deadheading about 100 miles to my next pickup.”
Translation: I’m driving empty to my next load.

📻 Not every mile on the road is loaded. Sometimes you’ve got to run empty to keep things moving.
