☀️🛶 WHAT A FIRST WEEKEND! 🛶☀️

Our brand-new PaddlePort had an AMAZING first weekend at Wheeling Watersports! 🎉

The weather couldn’t have been better, the kayaks were hitting the water, and we couldn’t be happier with how our first weekend went!
We also want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who liked, shared, commented on, and helped spread the word after we announced the PaddlePort was officially open. The response has been incredible, and we truly appreciate all the support! ❤️

The PaddlePort makes it easier than ever to get out and enjoy the Ohio River — reserve online, grab your gear, unlock your kayak and GO! No waiting around and no need to coordinate a pickup.

🍂 And we’re not done yet! The PaddlePort will remain open this fall for as long as Mother Nature cooperates, so there’s still plenty of time to get out on the water!

And this is just the beginning… 👀
We’re already looking ahead to next season and can’t wait to bring more PaddlePort locations to the area! 🛶📍

🌊🛶 BIG NEWS FOR THE OHIO VALLEY — OUR PADDLEPORT IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! ☀️

WE are excited to announce the Ohio Valley’s FIRST self-service kayak rental!

And with a gorgeous weekend ahead, there couldn’t be a better time to give it a try! 😎

We designed our PaddlePort to make getting out on the water easier than ever. No waiting, no coordinating pickup times, and no need for someone to be there. Just reserve, unlock, and paddle!

Here’s how it works:

🛶 1. Reserve — Visit wheelingwatersports.com or scan the QR code at the PaddlePort.
📅 2. Book your adventure — Choose your kayak, date, and rental time, complete your waiver and payment, and receive your unique access code.
🔓 3. Unlock & Go — Your code gives you access to your kayak AND the GearVault with your paddle and life jacket.
🌊 4. Hit the water! — Grab your gear, launch your kayak, and enjoy the river!
🔒 5. Return & Secure — When you're finished, simply return your kayak and gear to the same location and lock everything back up.

🚨 But this is just the beginning…
We’re already working with other cities to bring PaddlePorts to locations throughout the Ohio Valley for next season! Our goal is simple: make kayaking more convenient and accessible by putting self-service rentals right where people want to get on the water. 🌊

We’ve been working behind the scenes on something BRAND NEW… and we’re getting VERY close to unveiling it! 👀🛶

We’re not ready to spill all the details just yet, but here’s what we can say…

We’ve taken what we learned during these first few months our first season and have been working on a rental experience that we think is going to make getting out on the water simpler than ever.

Today was the perfect reminder of why we love being on the water. We had the pontoon and kayaks out soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the calm river, and taking in some of the best views Wheeling has to offer.
