and finally our Personal PA-22 Pacer is grounded. The right fuel tank is leaking and the rear false spar in front of the flap is broken. time to pull the 27 gallon custom field approved tank and fix the leak and then do some fabric patching.

Piper J3 repair.
This J3 landed slightly off the edge a local runway and went over a rain-bird sprinkler head taking the center cabane V and hydrasorb strut out from under it. amazingly the fuselage only took damage to the right rear gear/strut attach fitting. wings took no damage and the struts are straight. engine had a tear down and is getting overhauled.

we moved the RF5-B fuselage the 30+ miles from its home airport to our airport and paint booth today. Now to get it prepared for shiny new paint to match the newly fabric covered wing and control surfaces.
