She's starting to look alive!

UP Electromods vWv e-bike for her built on a 2008 DEAN Ultimate Bikes, Titanium MTB we found as a bare frame in need of some love.

Verified this classic was handmade by the original founder John Siegrist and possibly with some help from Aaron Barcheck, now Founder and Owner of Mosaic.

Modernized with high performance parts, electric motor, and framebag. About to take this baby to the last great bike mechanic hiding away at Danville Bike and Footwear for full integration and fine tuning to racer performance.

And this is just prototype 0. Wait till you see the WISE ASSIST software and engineering we have in the works to make this baby ride less like an e-bike and more like an analog racer.

313 miles and 12,500 ft of climbing over 20 rides, ramping up slowly so the pups can acclimate - we still got a LONG ways to go for us and the pups to hit the 2,700 miles and 200,000 ft of climbing to make it through the great divide. That's 100 miles per day if we want to do it in less than 30 days!

Our days are packed with researching, purchasing, and testing the best gear (focusing on finding the best quality and functionality for the price not just picking the most expensive or well-branded things), designing custom e-bikes and trailers, expanding our team and partnerships, training on increasingly difficult rides, preparing meals, and then of course trying to keep up with the overwhelm of sifting through, analyzing/reflecting, documenting and editing data and posting/sharing so everyone can see what's really going on.

Excited to officially announce our partnership with !

We're adding their 750W Photon Mid-Drive Motor to our 2 prototypes. We picked them over others in the industry for their better quality build and top of the line torque sensors. Why do torque sensors matter? Because we want the ride to feel smooth and in control of the rider, not just a throttle bunny.

We believe in human augmentation, not displacement. Can't wait for these motors to arrive!

Big Visions Start with Small Steps.

To make sure our product vision aligns with reality, we gotta jump in with what we got which means bikes we already have, no motor except for our legs, and the best available off-road bike trailer we could find in a short amount of time.

Checkout a unique frame we happened to have lying around —a 1990s Ibis Mojo with one-of-a-kind fork by Naked Bicycles and Mavic ceramic rims. With 2 humans on 2 bikes + 1 trailer with 2 dogs, we already turn heads... but this setup isn't going to last.
