The Owensboro Board of Commissioners took some time to recognize the Daviess County High School's Dance Team! They made school history this season with an outstanding performance at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Dance Competition, earning first place in both the Large Hip Hop and Game Day categories, marking the first time the program has claimed a double state title. They continued that momentum on the national stage in Orlando, where they placed second in the nation in Large Varsity Hip Hop, earning the Technical Excellence Award, and fifth in the nation in Large Varsity Game Day. Congratulations to the team!
