I got the new E-Props Glorieuse 82.7in constant speed prop installed on the Norden. With a total weight of under 10lbs for the whole set-up (prop, governor, regulator, spinner) and a low moment of inertia it is very gearbox friendly. I got 651lbs of static thrust and above 2,000fpm climb rate. Here are some numbers I got in cruise at 15,000ft. The outside air temp was 18f and I kept the RPM at 5,450.

Got to show the Zlin Norden to a perspective Buyer this last week. Here is a landing and takeoff with zero wind. Everyone who tries this airplane loves it. Here is the takeoff. The airport weather said 22 gusting to 29. This Norden handled it very well, I had to hold about 10mph higher airspeed on landing to keep it steady and taxing was no issue. This is my current demo plane and it is for sale at a discount to make room for the next one coming in. Contact me to check it out.

Just got some high altitude data in the Norden. I have an 80in four blade ground adjustable E-Prop. I put extra pitch in to be at a better power setting up high. Here are the results. (Note the 131TAS at 5.5gph! Very efficient) Mosaic will allow this plane to have a constant speed prop and unlock this potential.
