Today we honor the memory of Kim Houdashelt — a respected driver, mentor, and friend whose dedication, kindness, and experience left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
In September 2025, Kim celebrated his 30th anniversary with CTS, a remarkable milestone that reflected his dependability, steady loyalty, and commitment to the company throughout the years. As one of our top driver trainers, Kim practiced what he preached, taking pride in his equipment and striving for excellence in everything he did.
Kim’s truck became more than just equipment — it was a reflection of the pride, professionalism, and dedication he brought to CTS every single day. He was always there when someone needed him, just a phone call away day or night, and had a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
Above all else, Kim loved his family deeply and was especially proud of his grandchildren. He tragically passed away while saving the life of another, reflecting the protective and selfless spirit that defined so much of who he was.
To his family, friends, coworkers, and community, Kim will always be remembered as a hero. His legacy of kindness, loyalty, and service will never be forgotten.
