I still miss you in ordinary moments

Or when I simply want to hear your voice again
Mother’s Day makes me realize how much love still lives inside my heart for you
Even though you are no longer here physically
you are still part of everything I am
The older I get
the more I understand your sacrifices
Your patience
Your quiet love that held everything together
I wish I had more time with you
More conversations
More hugs
More chances to say thank you
