For the next few months I will be doing a special “SUNDAY SCHOOL OF ROCK” series, in addition to my regular “School of Rock” where I will feature a different crystal from the Bible every Sunday and explain what it was used for both in biblical times as well as it’s uses today💜✝️💎🙏🏼
A lot of people think the use of Crystals in religion is “New age” spirituality but our ancestors have been using crystals as spiritual tools since the beginning of time!
This weeks Sunday crystal will be AMETHYST 💎💜✝️
Amethyst is actually mentioned multiple times in the Bible and was the stone used in Aaron’s breastplate to represent the tribe of Issachar. A different stone was set into Aaron’s breastplate for each of the 12 tribes and each stone was carefully chosen by Moses!
In biblical times, amethyst was believed to prevent “intoxication”… On the surface we may think of intoxication as simple drunkenness however people under spiritual attack were often falsely accused of drunkenness in these times, leading many biblical scholars to the conclusion that amethyst was used by high ranking men of the church to keep their minds free from possession by demons and other spiritual warfare. It was considered very precious and was found in the treasures of Kings as well as used to adorn the walls of “New Jerusalem” or “heaven” on Earth meaning their use was commanded by God himself!! 💜✝️💎
Today we use amethyst in a very similar way, it is the stone of the third eye and is believed to help with mental clarity as well as being a very powerful protective stone, especially in matters of the mind. It protects against spiritual attacks and can help enhance visions and downloads.
