Job Summary
This position is to work with our Contract Services Department team. You will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, processing paperwork and maintaining contracts with our couriers. You will also be working with market managers to ensure appropriate customer delivery satisfaction while maintaining the company's independent contractor policies and procedures. This is not an hourly position; you’ll have a salary.
Job Duties
• Contract recruiting, screening, and selection.
• Place recruitment ads, assist in planning strategies, screen potential contractors, and making recommendations.
• Conduct Independent Contractor candidate information sessions.
• Continuously work to create sustainable partnerships with current and future contractors.
• Follow processes and procedures to increase efficiency for the Contract Services Department.
• Audit Contractor files for accuracy and effectiveness.
• File, maintain and audit contractor records.
• Continually review and assist in updating forms and processes related to contracting.
• Ensure contractors and their contracts are in compliance with customer requirements.
• Quality control and enforcement of Independent Contractor Model in all contracting activities.
• Have ability to be a self-starter and utilize time to reach company deadlines and demands.
• Continuous growth in computer knowledge.
• Communicate with Management of all HII locations as often as needed.
• Initiative to research areas to identify problems and take action to improve performance.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Other duties, responsibilities, or assignments as may be required.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Travel up to 25%.
Requirements

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and proficiency in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Highly organized and able to set priorities.
• Experience in contracting, hiring, talent acquisition is a plus.
