Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. As you enter Noah’s world aboard the massive Ark, you’ll tour three decks filled with scores of world-class exhibit bays. These stunning exhibits allow you to experience what Noah’s

life may have been like. From unique dining to dynamic speaker presentations, concerts, hands-on activities, and more, the Ark Encounter is packed with experiences to make your visit fun, educational, and memorable. Some of these activities are an additional cost, but many are free with your Ark admission.

Walking through our life-size Noah’s Ark, it’s almost impossible to get a grasp of what Noah’s ark was like in its entirety. Just imagine the ingenuity Noah had to use to design the cage layout for efficiency and to craft feeding systems, waste removal systems, lighting mechanisms. It had to have been one of the most high-tech “inventions” of Noah’s day.

This summer, Northern Kentucky once again will become the home of the world’s largest Christian music festival.

From July 28–September 5, 2026, the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum will host the sixth annual 40 Days of Christian Music—a worship experience attended by tens of thousands every year.

Answers in Genesis and Abraham Productions, Inc. are thrilled to announce an incredible lineup of artists across multiple genres, all coming together to lift up the name of Jesus.

If Noah didn’t already have carpentry or shipbuilding skills (how many trades could you learn in over 500 years?), he was surely an expert by the time he stood aboard this three-story masterpiece. Since he built it in great reverence (Hebrews 11:7), it may have taken decades to finish the ark.

From early history, men like Tubal-Cain worked with bronze and iron, but the flood buried the sources of metal. As Noah’s descendants populated the earth, metals needed to be rediscovered and lost technologies had to be reinvented.

Men began to rebuild, but they soon faced another technological setback—the judgment at Babel. As the various people groups scattered from that place, scientific achievements and technological advancements came slowly since most people struggled to meet their basic needs, such as food and shelter.
