First camping / cabin trip and I think we brought pretty much everything. Seems like pre-packed bins with the essentials is something we need to figure out. How do you plan and pack for your outdoor adventures?

Have you lost space in your home to stuff that you're not using now or storing indefinitely for a future purpose?

We were fortunate to receive a seemingly endless supply of baby and kid's clothes / supplies, but it meant storing items that weren't going to be used for months or even years. Despite constant efforts to organize, the room always felt like it was about to burst. It took longer than it should have, but we finally reclaimed the space and turned it into a spare bedroom. We also realized there had to be a better way to manage these wanted but not yet needed items.

How do you like to organize your stuff? The occasional big clear out? Or, little by little?

In either case, part of being able to efficiently organize is knowing that what's around you is serving a purpose and there because you want it.
