5 MINUTES THAT CAN SAVE YOUR BACK (AND YOUR CAREER) 🚛🧘‍♂️

Long hours behind the wheel are tough on the spine, hips, and lower back. But you don’t need a gym membership to stay pain-free on the road—just 5 minutes during your pre-trip or fuel stop.

Here is a quick daily mobility routine every OTR driver should do:

The Steering Wheel Stretch: Place both hands on top of the wheel, step back, and lower your chest toward the floor. Unlocks tight shoulders and upper back.

Standing Hip Openers: Put one foot on your truck step, lean gently forward, and stretch out those tight hip flexors from hours of sitting.

The Mirror Reach: Stand tall, reach both arms straight up toward the sky, and gently lean side-to-side. Decompresses your spine after a long stretch of highway.

Pro-Tip: Doing this simple routine once or twice a day improves blood flow, keeps you alert behind the wheel, and prevents long-term joint pain.
