The quote above is one of my favorites, because it perfectly encapsulates why I’m so drawn to—really, so passionate about—planning travel. But that’s only part of the quote. Here’s the rest:

GLOBAL ENTRY INTERVIEW EVENT AT ILM - SEPTEMBER 2026

The Global Entry calendar for the September 14-18th event is open for scheduling. Event times will be 8:00-4:00 each day.



Important: all applicants attending the event must be Conditionally Approved. In the past, we were able to assist with pushing applicants through so they could apply and then return the next day for their interview. We’ve been advised that push through applicants cannot be facilitated during the event. Walk-ins will be seen each day of the event throughout the last day of the event. The cut-off time for walk-ins on the last day of the event will be 3pm.



To schedule your appointment, log into your trusted traveler program account (Where you applied for Global Entry) or follow links in your notification of conditional approval.



REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Valid US Passport and a secondary form of photo ID (e.g. driver’s license).



The event is held on the ILM airport property but is at the International Customs Facility at 1921 Hall Drive – NOT at the airport terminal. There is paid parking available at the customs building.

WILMINGTON, NC GLOBAL ENTRY INTERVIEW EVENT AUG 3 -8

The CBP will be holding a mobile Global Entry event at the ILM International Customs Facility at 1921 Hall Drive, Wilmington, NC Aug 3 - 8, 2026.

You need to have applied for Global Entry and received your conditional approval in order to schedule an in person interview appointment at this event. The calendar to make an appointment for this event will open up on Friday, July 10 at 9 AM.

Important: all applicants attending the event must be Conditionally Approved.
