This boat had two deep gouges on the starboard side. One on the hull in the grey gelcoat, and the other on the gunwale just above the rubrail in the white gelcoat. Both did not look as bad as they were. I had to grind the areas through every layer of glass, because the fiberglass was stressed out down to the core!
