New community bike ride alert!

As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, it’s time to Light Up the Night! Join SMART for a fun, family-friendly community bike ride celebrating bright bikes, creative lights, and being seen while riding after dark.

We’ll begin to gather at the SMART Welcome Center at 5:00 PM for a pre-ride bike decorating party. Bring your bike and get creative with reflective materials provided by SMART before we head out together at 6:00 PM.

Riders are encouraged to decorate their bikes with their brightest, boldest, and coolest bike lights and help us shine a light on the importance of visibility when walking, biking, and rolling after dark.

Ride Details:
Date: Friday, November 6th
Gather starting at 5:00pm. We depart at 6:00pm

Starting Location: SMART Welcome Center (9749 SW Barber St.)
Ending Location: SMART Welcome Center (9749 SW Barber St.)

We look forward to riding with you in lights! This ride is family-friendly. All are welcome. Helmets required. All riders must follow current Oregon e-bike laws.

We’ll ride together to Canby, grab some lunch, stretch our legs with a walk, and enjoy some time exploring together. 🥪🚶‍♀️🌳

This Friday! SMART's hosting a Bike Rodeo with the Wilsonville Public Library! Bike Rodeos are like a bike skills course and are designed to provide attendees with the opportunity to test their bicycle skills or to develop skills that will help them become better bicyclists and avoid typical crashes. It takes about 5-7 minutes to complete the course and participants can practice the course as many times as they like.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own bike and helmet. Those without a bicycle and/or helmet may check one out from SMART's bike fleet for the event, depending on size availability.

We will also have repair onsite to help you get your bike ready to hit the road. Transit themed arts and crafts will be available inside the library's Oak Room as well.
