Stay calm but the vending machine is up and running again!!! We are so lucky there wasn't major internal damage and only a few parts needed to be replaced.
Egg production is increasing but we are still selling out daily. Machine is stocked by 6:30 each evening with eggs laid fresh that same day!

We are looking for a little help right now. We are very optimistic about this being a fabulous year at the farm, but the year has gotten off to a bit of a rough start. With the vending machine being down, we are not able to sell as many small sized chicken eggs and duck eggs. These eggs are starting to pile up and we would like to bring them to the food bank at the Windsor Presbyterian Church this Monday. If you are able to purchase a dozen to help with our overhead cost, we would greatly appreciate it.

Do you miss the green/blue eggs in our large egg cartons? Well they are slowly making a comeback! Ameraucanas, which is the breed that lays the blue/green hues do not have the highest production numbers. These girls are also entering their second lay cycle which also contributes to a drop in production. Out of 220 Ameraucanas we were only getting 2 to 3 eggs a day during winter. Yesterday we counted almost 20!

Thank you Matt with 707 Plumbers Inc. for dropping off the truck this weekend for recycling collection. Stop by anytime on February 4th and 5th with your water bottles or aluminum cans, you can leave the bags by the truck and we will toss it in if you need assistance.
