Truckin’ in My Blood:

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Truckin’s in my blood….. I am finally realizing it’s true.

Nineteen ninety-four was the year I started to soar… Started in the shop and made that thing hop!

Went to the road… successfully delivering freight by the load.

With no air in my chair, chrome or lights for flair, I hit the road with just a pair of clean underwear.

A map, paper, and pen is how we trucked back then! Zero cell towers on this vast land… only a Cobra mic in hand.

Drivers were proud, and their straight pipes were loud. Born in this land… now they come across in a boat with a CDL in hand.

How did we let everyone else take over our land? Nobody seems to want to work; they got lazy… it’s the government’s plan, and I’m not the one crazy.

Instead of earning money working an assembly line… now we stand at the food pantry complaining about the time.

Now, if you see a glimmer of hope and you say no to the dope.

If your last boss lied or you feel denied.

Stop at Sparhawk and take a truck for a ride.

When you get back, your soul will be filled with pride.

We here at Sparhawk Trucking had a great time this Father’s Day while participating in the parade!!

Trucking runs through our veins! This is what we live, it’s what we breathe and we can’t get enough of it!! We love our community and we love trucking!

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.

I call upon You today for Your utmost protection. Please keep our drivers, and all drivers, safe from any danger, peril, or harm they may encounter on the road.

Please be their lookout and their companion, for in You I place all my love and trust.
Remove all obstacles before them, free them from entanglements, and clear their paths of potential accidents. Give them wisdom in their decisions, patience in difficult moments, and the opportunity to help those who may be in need.

Guide them safely to their destinations and home again to their families.

Amen.
