In 2026, roughly 1 in 31 8-year-old children in the U.S. have been diagnosed with autism.

I’m sure we can all agree that so much work needs to be done in finding a cause and a cure for autism, as it has impacted the lives of so many.

There’s no right or wrong way to feel about Autism or Autism Awareness Month. If you like to participate in your local autism walks, great. If you want to support businesses that employ autistic individuals, like , awesome.

At the end of the day, just be kind, and recognize that “Autism Awareness Month” doesn’t solve anything.
