How we keep track of how many bales are in a trailer when filling! We first start out my setting bales along the wall the length of the trailer to see how many sections we’ll get and to help us keep organized. Each section will have the same number of bales, in this picture it’s 37. Then just continue the same pattern to the back of the trailer. If the hay is not even with the back of the trailer, we will add 21 bales sitting crossways (7 high 3 wide). With bales being slightly different sizes, a full trailer load is roughly 687 bales!
