We have room for 10-12 more local company or owner operators who are looking for shorthaul loads in and out of Louisiana. Depending on where you live would determine how often during the week you could go home. Pulling a curtainside makes it easy because most of our loads are building materials and need to be kept dry. We can rent you a curtainside for $200 a week and we maintain it. We do have several drivers pulling flatbeds also if you prefer to pull that. Protected Cargo Transport in Woodworth, La. is looking for local and regional drivers and owner operators. We have a wide variety of freight criss-crossing central Louisiana and reaching over into Texas and across to the south east. We need more curtainside operators but are taking on flatbed drivers as well. We have drivers who go home every night, some a couple of times during the week and some on weekends. Home time is determined mostly as to where you live. We have work on weekends for those who prefer that or may need to make up some revenue if they had to take off during the week and want to make it up. We are very flexible and accommodating to a driver's need for home time. Our pay is based on percentage of revenue and our owner operators get 100% of fuel surcharges. We are wanting to expand both our owner operator and company driver fleet. We need both flatbed and curtainside drivers. We can rent you a trailer if you don't have one. We need trucks in Louisiana and the surrounding states. Majority of the runs are criss-crossing in and out of Louisiana to Texas, and the south east. Protected Cargo is looking for more drivers and owner operators. Mostly regional and local runs within a few hundred miles of central Louisiana. We pay percentage so as the rates go up this year, so will the pay. You can get home on the weekends and sometimes during the week.
