🎉 Camrett Logistics is proud to announce the promotion of Derek Poff to Vice President of Operations!
Derek’s career with Camrett began while he was a student at Virginia Tech, working part-time at our Newbern Road facility. After earning his degree, he joined Camrett full-time in 2006 and has spent the past 20 years building extensive experience across our operations.
Throughout his career, Derek has held leadership roles supporting warehousing, repackaging, transportation, automotive sequencing, and customer-specific logistics solutions across multiple Camrett facilities and customer locations. Most recently, as Director of Operations, he provided leadership across Camrett’s daily operations, helping connect executive strategy with frontline ex*****on while driving efficiency and operational performance.
In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Derek will provide strategic leadership across Camrett’s locations with a continued focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, workforce development, and continuous improvement.
Derek’s journey from a part-time employee while attending college to Vice President of Operations reflects the experience, dedication, and leadership he has brought to Camrett throughout his career.
