🚨 FMCSA Removes 9 ELDs from Registered List 🚨
Today, FMCSA removed 9 Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) from its list of approved devices for use in commercial motor vehicles.
“Electronic logging devices play an important role in preventing unsafe driving practices,” said FMCSA Administrator Derek D. Barrs. “When devices don’t meet federal requirements, they put safety at risk, and that’s why we take action to remove them and keep our roads safer for everyone.”
đź“‹Drivers using the revoked ELDs must switch to paper logs immediately.
đź“‹Motor carriers have 60 days to replace the device.
