Yesterday I explained what a split stay is at Walt Disney World, and promised you a full week-long vacation itinerary showing how you can take advantage of one! Here it is! ππΌ
Let's say that you want to stay at Beach Club π for the first 3 nights of your trip, and the Polynesian πΏfor the next 3 nights. Both are Deluxe resorts, which mean both have added perks like Extended Evening Hours, upgraded amenities, hot tubs, multiple pools, waterslides, and increased transportation options. Both also offer Club-level rooms, which have even MORE benefits. But they each have their own personality, services, and locations! Here's my suggested itinerary to best take advantage of what each has to offer! ‡
Day 1 - Arrival day. Settle into your Beach Club room and decide which amazing Boardwalk restaurant you want to eat dinner at. I recommend my favorite, Trattoria al Forno! π And for dessert, either try the tiramisu or get a family-sized bowl of ice cream at Beaches & Cream! π¨
Day 2 - It's just a 5-minute walk to EPCOT, where you'll enter the park near Remi's Ratatouille Adventure. π After you ride, grab a crepe or pastry for breakfast! π₯ Be sure to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours tonight - only Deluxe guests can stay in the park for an extra 2 hours!
Day 3 - Hop on the Skyliner and spend the day in Hollywood Studios. π‘ Toy Story, Star Wars, and the Muppets await you! Be sure to stay for a Fantasmic showing in the evening. β¨
Day 3 - Take a rest day to sleep in, relax... and thoroughly enjoy everything your resort has to offer. Beach Club has an incredible pool area, complete with a waterslide, sand-bottom pool, a hot tub, and a lazy river! π Pack up and take your luggage to Bell Services to be transferred to the Polynesian while you enjoy the pool and Boardwalk. π Head over to your next resort in the afternoon or evening!
Day 4 - Wake up and take in the view - and the tropical smells! - at the Polynesian! Board the Monorail and get dropped off right in front of Magic Kingdom. π
End your day with fireworks in front of the castle... does it get better than that? π°
Day 5 - Ride a comfortable resort bus to Animal Kingdom, where you can ride a banshee, meet some animals, and enjoy the Lion King show! π¦ Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks, but you can use this time to swim at the Polynesian and grab a drink at Trader Sam's. πΉ Or, if you have Park Hopper tickets, you can catch the fireworks at EPCOT or Magic Kingdom or see Fantasmic again! π
Day 6 - Meet Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch at your all-you-care-to-eat family style breakfast at 'Ohana! π Be sure to try the pog juice and fill up on pineapple-coconut bread before you head back to your room to pack and catch your afternoon flight back home. π
