My 2 biggest worries with Star of the seas was the size of the ship being the largest in the world at the moment and getting lost and I found out they overbook it meaning there was going to be 7,600 passengers on it no matter what.

I actually knew where I was going for the most part on day 2. It was super easy to navigate.

The elevator system was amazing. 12 sets on either end of the ship where all you had to do was put the floor number you need and it tells you what letter elevator number to go to. Super impressed!

Now crowds. It was honestly not bad at all. Why? Because the ship is so large they strategically placed things to do all over the ship so not everyone was in the same spot. It never felt overwhelming with people. Windjammers for embarkation and disembarkation was probably the worst but it wasn’t any worse than any other ship we have been on.
**Tip is to find a seat first and go up one at a time or I went up first to get the kids food and then mine while Eric was at the table with the kids so you’re not walking around with a bunch of food looking for a table. Leaned that lesson a few cruises ago.
