Two-week photo dump because apparently I forgot to take pictures for an entire week and then took 47 in one day. 😂

The past couple of weeks have been a little bit of everything — keeping up with inventory, spending some much-needed time in the mountains with family, getting everything ready for our back-to-school promo, and working on the tool box raffle. Somewhere in between all of that, we’ve also been getting everything together and ready for the Tool Show.

Busy weeks, lots of work, a little family time, and plenty of tools… basically life lately. 🛠️❤️

🚨 OFFICIALLY CLOCKING OUT OF “BIRTHDAY WEEK” (but emotionally it’ll last until at least August). 🚨

This week was MY WEEK.

Yes, I’m a super white bitch, an only child, and I celebrate my birthday like it’s a federally recognized holiday. Stay mad. 💅✨

We sold 80+ mystery bags, I made desserts for the guys EVERY SINGLE DAY because apparently I enjoy creating more work for myself, and somehow survived the chaos.

Now I’m disappearing into a weekend full of birthday celebrations because one dinner is for people with self-control… and I clearly don’t have that.

Also… hate to be the one to tell you this, but it’s only 5 months until Christmas. 🎄

You’re either excited… or you just threw your phone across the room after reading that.

This week we held our annual Ugly Punch & Chisel Contest! We didn’t have as many trade-ins this year since we’ve run this promotion several times before, but we sold a ton of new sets—so I’ll definitely call that a win.

I also spent the week focusing on Mystery Bag preorders, and after work on Friday I locked in and knocked them all out.

We also received more donations for our Back-to-School Drive, which means I’ll be going shopping tomorrow to pick up supplies. Thank you to everyone who has donated and helped make this possible! 📚✏️💙

Now it’s time for my favorite week… birthday week! 🎉🥳

~ Launched the 250th Anniversary Limited Edition Ratchet & Socket Set. Bought the set? Boom. Free matching 250th anniversary beach towel.
~ Customers participated in the Power of 10 for a 1-in-10 chance to win a wallet or a kabob skewer set.
~ And then I started taking Mystery Bag preorders… because apparently I thrive on organized chaos.

The funniest part is explaining Mystery Bags to new customers.

“So… I pay you… and you pick everything?”
Yep.

“What if I don’t like it?”
You will.

“How do you know?”
Because I have issues… but putting together Mystery Bags isn’t one of them. 😂

My regulars don’t even ask questions anymore. They just hand me their money and say, “Do your thing.”

It’s honestly one of my favorite promotions because I get to move inventory and they score way more than they paid for!

Moral of the story: my marketing strategy is somewhere between “trust me” and “this sounded like a good idea at 2 a.m.”… and somehow it keeps working. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

I grabbed these at Target, and why am I THIS excited over organizers?! They have no business making me this happy, but here we are. My little organization-loving heart is thriving. 🤣

This week we kept it simple—y’all bought what you wanted, and we threw in a little gift because ✨freedom✨.

We took Friday off because around here the Fourth of July isn’t just another holiday… it’s basically a personality trait. 😂 When you live this close to where America actually won its independence, the whole area just shuts down to celebrate. Honestly, if you tried to get anyone to work today, they’d probably look at you like you insulted George Washington himself.

I know it’s cheesy, but it genuinely makes me a little emotional. We get to live where history happened—not just read about it in a textbook. That’s pretty dang cool.
