We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to join our team this busy holiday season!

Position: Temporary Curbside/Delivery Assistant
Hours: Weekdays 10AM – 6PM (may include Saturdays)
Must be able to do full 8 hour days during this period.
Duration: Immediate start through to 31st December, 2025
Location: aeropost, Port Purcell

Requirements:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Driver’s license preferred (may assist with deliveries)
• Must be dependable and a team player
• BVI Belonger preferred

Duty Free on renewable Energy products is now official!

Solar panels, led lights, batteries for solar systems, Wind turbines, Parts for solar systems, inverter air conditioners, electric and hybrid cars scooters and bicycles, are all duty free for the next 5 years!

Kudos to the Government for this.

We're excited to hear that government is announcing an extension to the act allowing duty free entries for renewable energies goods.

We look forward to the formalizing of this update into law to adjust those changes in our clearance process. HM. Customs will not allow these clearances until this is complete. We are hoping this will be complete by next week.

Minister for Communication and Works Honourable Kye M. Rymer has announced that the Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved zero customs duty for renewable energy and energy efficient products beginning September 1.

The Aeropost team has been busy behind the scenes discussing with Amazon. and the issues are being resolved. Some, but not all, are now seeing Prime two day delivery on everything. The fastest packages have Prealerts and Autopay (lower is better).

This is a chart of the amount hours it takes on average for a package to go through Miami.

Pre-alerts gives Aeropost necessary package information ahead of package arrival in Miami. This enables us to calculate charges quickly on arrival avoiding needing to monitor the package to know when to upload the invoice.

Autopay is a setting that enables fast release of your package as soon as Aeropost and Government fees have been calculated.

Log on to aeropost.com to switch to autopay and make pre-alerts.

In light of the tropical storm Ernesto warning, we want to ensure the safety of our customers, staff, and community. Please note the following operational changes:
Local Operations:
Tortola operations will pause at 12 PM on Tuesday, August 13, including curbside delivery and loading of lockers.
We will attempt to receive a flight on Tuesday morning if conditions permit.
Outer island services to Virgin Gorda and Anegada will be suspended on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Customer Support:
Phone lines, email support, and package customs preparation will continue as usual, though BVI office phone lines may be affected by internet or power outages, potentially causing longer wait times.
Service Resumption:
We expect to resume services on Thursday, August 15.
